Lindy Yoshida, CFP®, CDFA®, works with Vesta clients at every stage of divorce (considering it, in the middle of it, or rebuilding after) to help them understand their finances during this transition. Based in Denver, Colorado, Lindy brings together financial planning, coaching, and grief education because she knows divorce is more than a financial transaction. Her approach comes from her own divorce. Even with a background in financial analysis, she learned firsthand how hard it is to make money decisions during such a major life change. That experience is why she pairs real financial expertise with guidance on building a supportive team during this hard season of life, so clients can make informed decisions they feel confident about.
Before joining Vesta, Lindy spent five years as a financial advisor at BSW Wealth Partners, a registered investment advisory firm in Boulder, Colorado. There she specialized in managing money for clients and educating their children who were expected to inherit significant wealth. Earlier, she was a business development associate at Uncharted, an accelerator for social entrepreneurs. Lindy is a Certified Grief Educator trained by David Kessler and the founder of Lindy Yoshida Coaching. Her work also extends beyond one-on-one coaching: she co-presents TalkingParents workshops with Erin Siegel of Fortitude & Flourish, and she has been a guest on the All the Grief podcast and the Dishing on Divorce podcast, speaking about financial identity and radical acceptance in divorce. Outside of her professional work, Lindy is a florist who finds being around flowers deeply relaxing, and she loves Latin dancing (salsa, bachata, and cumbia) with her whole heart. You’ll often spot her in heart-shaped sunglasses and big hoop earrings.
