Judge Linda Prestley (Ret.) brings more than three decades of legal, judicial, and dispute resolution experience to her work helping families navigate divorce and related family law matters with clarity, dignity, and control over their outcomes.
Appointed to the Connecticut Superior Court in 2000, Judge Prestley spent the majority of her judicial career dedicated to family law and served as Presiding Judge in the Family Division. During her time on the bench, she earned the highest ratings from the family law bar and developed deep insight into both the legal and human sides of divorce, custody, and financial disputes. Since retiring from the bench in 2019, she has continued to support families as a mediator and arbitrator in private practice, helping parties reach fair, practical agreements outside of traditional litigation.
Judge Prestley specializes in mediating divorce, child custody, financial matters, blended family disputes, and other family-related conflicts. She is known for her calm presence, balanced approach, and ability to create a respectful and constructive environment where couples can work through difficult decisions and move forward with confidence. Her goal is always to help families find solutions that protect their long term wellbeing and preserve important relationships whenever possible.
