Alan P. Niemann, CLU, ChFC, AEP, has over 38 years of experience in the financial services industry. He is a Life and Qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table with over ten years as a Top of the Table Qualifier. Alan started his career in 1983 with Mutual of New York, MONY, as a Field Underwriter. Later advancing to the role of Sales Manager, then Regional Director covering the central U.S., and Agency Manager of the OKC MONY office. During his time managing, the firm grew an average of 18% per year.
In May 1999, Alan was appointed General Agent for John Hancock in Oklahoma City. Transitioning his firm to an independent organization seven years ago. Today adaptation Financial manages over 750,000,000 clients’ investments and has in place over 5,000,000,000 life insurance benefits with offices in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Houston, Dallas, and Columbus, OH.
Alan grew up on the family farm and ranch in western Oklahoma, where he learned the value of hard work early in life. He graduated from El Reno High School in El Reno, OK, in 1978 and then attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Economics, Farm and Ranch management in 1982. During his time at Oklahoma State, he was most active in his fraternity, Delta Chi, where he served as Summer Rushman Chair and Chapter President. After graduation, he worked as a Chapter Consultant for Delta Chi Fraternity International Headquarters in Iowa City, Iowa.
He is married to his wife of 38 years, Gwen, and they have two daughters. Avery graduated from Denver University, is a resident of Denver, CO, and is the firm’s Chief Administrative officer with plans to attend law school soon. Ashton is a May graduate from TCU with a degree in finance and joined the Oklahoma City office as an advisor on Aug 1st of this year.
Alan has been a member of the Oklahoma City Men’s Dinner Club for over 30 years and is a current Board Member. He has been a member of Rotary Club 29 since 1988. He is also a member of Leadership Oklahoma City Class XV and the Committee of 100, Oklahoma City Chapter. He has sponsored OSU Executive Management Briefing for over 25 years. Also, He has provided support to the Oklahoma City Food Bank, United Methodist Committee on Relief, Salvation Army, Oklahoma Heart Association, and Oklahoma Youth Ag Expo over the years. As well as a sponsor of the 6-horse hitch world championship for 18 years.
