Cate Blake is a family law attorney with a client-centered approach that empowers
individuals to make informed decisions about their future while providing strong legal
representation every step of the way. Recognizing that every family situation is
different, Cate offers a range of solutions, including mediation representation and
collaborative law, to help clients reach amicable agreements outside of court while
minimizing conflict and stress. However, when litigation is necessary, Cate is a skilled
advocate in the courtroom, fighting for the best possible outcome. Cate practices in
Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Before starting her firm, Resolve Family Law, LLC, Cate was a partner at Atwood &
Cherny. Immediately after law school, she served as a law clerk to the Justices of the
Massachusetts Probate and Family Court. Cate is a member of the Massachusetts Bar
Association; the New Hampshire Bar Association; the New Hampshire Women’s Bar
Association; and is a board member of the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Counsel.

In addition to client representation, Cate takes on court appointments as a Guardian ad
Litem, ARC (attorneys representing children) Counsel, and Discovery Master. She has
been recognized as a Super Lawyer by Boston Magazine.
