Kristy is an attorney at Kajko, Weisman & Colasanti and concentrates her practice in all areas of domestic relations, including divorce, paternity, custody, child support, alimony, guardianship, modification, contempt, restraining order, and removal matters. She has extensive experience litigating and negotiating agreements in high-conflict divorce and custody matters, as well as cases involving intricate financial issues, business valuations, and high net-worth marital estates.
Before entering private practice, Kristy began her career as a Prosecutor in Family Court for New York City’s Administration for Children’s Services. Kristy received her Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra Law School, where she was selected for a Child and Family Advocacy Fellowship. While in law school, Kristy also interned at the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau, representing indigent clients in the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court. Kristy also gained substantial experience representing children in Family Court and Immigration Court as an attorney for Hofstra’s Youth Advocacy Clinic. Kristy is admitted to both the New York bar and the Massachusetts bar.
