Benjamin Person joins Vesta as a financial planner who focuses on serving clients during life transitions – starting a family, changing careers, moving, and retiring. When someone goes through a divorce, it’s likely to be one of the most significant transitions they will ever go through. In addition to financial planning, Ben believes there should be an entire team of people to support individuals through the divorce.
Ben began his career as an intern in 2007 at Merrill Lynch and has worked full-time in the financial services industry since 2009. Ben is a Certified Financial Planner ™ Practitioner. He earned his MBA in 2018 from The Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.
Ben was a 2-year starter and a 4-year letter winner on the football team under Coach Tressel at Ohio State. He played in 4 BCS Bowl Games, including 2 BCS National Championship Games. Ben applies much of what he learned from his coach when assisting his clients – like the importance of placing a high value on people and relationships and having a disciplined approach to preparation and planning.
Ben, his wife Krysta, and their two children live in Upper Arlington, OH. During his free time, Ben serves as a board member to the Upper Arlington Youth Football Program, supports the 2nd & 7 Foundation, Lifewise Academy, Stand 4 Truth, and She Has a Name. In addition, he and Krysta are members of the Varsity O Alumni Association and the Buckeye Club.
