Mary Sheridan is a member of the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council and trained collaborative divorce attorney for over twenty years. Mary began her unofficial career as a mediator when her second child was born. She has concentrated her practice on mediating and litigating Massachusetts divorce and post-divorce issues. She served as a Probate and Family Law Clerk and has been appointed by the court as a Parenting Coordinator, Guardian ad Litem, Attorney for Active Military in the Probate and Family Court.
In the past, Mary’s practice also included working closely with families to help parents get the appropriate educational services for their children through the public schools. This experience can be particularly helpful when working with clients on the parenting related issues in their divorce mediation.
Mary has served on the board of directors for the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation for many years, as well as volunteering her time as a mediator in Norfolk Probate and Family Court through the MWI “Norfolk Project”. Her work for MWI has included mentoring newly trained mediators.
