Deb is an accomplished and extremely motivated career development professional with over
15 years of experience demonstrating expertise in career counseling, employer relations and job development. She is a highly effective communicator with exceptional ability for providing career guidance to diverse populations across all industries, coordinating job search process, conducting outreach, and building and maintaining strong internal and external working relationships.
As an entrepreneur, Deb has co-created and facilitated a program for women transitioning back to the workplace: WCRP (Women’s Career Rebuilder Program) and created and implemented the Career Relaunch Program that she ran for her local library. She currently runs her own successful career coaching business: Career- Creations.
Deb’s experience includes: Serving as the Group Leader for the 50+ Job Seekers Networking Groups in Scituate and Marshfield, worked in a career- advising role at University of Massachusetts Boston, Northeastern University, Curry College, and Emerson College. She also was the Employer Relations Specialist at Wentworth Institute of Technology and an Associate Director for Business Development /Career Coach for a non-profit organization. As a result, she has expertise in relationship development, a very extensive network of employers that she is connected to, and knowledge that spans several industries.
She is dedicated to helping others move their lives forward and serves as a volunteer committee member for the Leadership In Action Program through the South Shore Chamber, has been an active volunteer for the Massachusetts Conference for Women, is a member of the South Shore Women’s Business Network, and has been a guest speaker for high school career fairs and other career related events.
Deb holds a Master of Science Degree in Applied Educational Psychology with a concentration in College Student Development and Career Counseling and a Bachelor of Science Degree with a concentration in Human Services both from Northeastern University.
