Jim is a highly skilled, experienced, and educated financial planner whose focus is on educating the community on how to make sound financial decisions in the new complex world we live in.  His practice is focused on divorce planning, distribution planning, asset protection and strategic modeling.  He focuses on helping his clients recapture money they are losing through paying excess taxes today or in the future; understanding how financial instruments work together; and the ripple effects of decision making on a financial model.

Jim has had numerous family members go through divorce.  He also has many experiences helping to advise clients through the different stages in divorce.  This has given him a deep appreciation and understanding of the psychological, emotion and financial impact that divorce can have.

Jim grew up on the South Shore, and currently resides in Norwell, MA with his wife Amy.  She holds a doctorate degree (Doctor of Nursing Practice) and is a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner through Boston Children’s Hospital, at South Shore Hospital.  They have two children: James II and Hannah.  Jim and Amy are big supporters of the March of Dimes, Rally to Give, and other local charities.  Jim also donates time to local colleges and schools in teaching 20 or more Adult Financial Education programs around Massachusetts a year, as well as helping to coach his children’s hockey teams.

In his free time Jim loves spending time on the water with his family and friends.  He also spends time under the water scuba diving and exploring uncharted waters.
