Andrea is an attorney in Burns & Levinson LLP’s Private Client group and a member of the Divorce & Family Law, Probate & Trust Litigation and Trusts & Estates practices. She focuses her practice in all aspects of domestic relations law in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, including divorce, custody, alimony, child support, etc. Andrea assists people who are planning for a divorce, going through a divorce, and who are divorced and require post-divorce legal assistance. Andrea became a divorce attorney to help people navigate the family court, which can be a scary, overwhelming place. Andrea had a family member who went through a difficult domestic relations matter, and she felt compelled to find a way to help. Joining Vesta has allowed Andrea to reach more people who, like her family member, have been touched by divorce, and assist them in managing an extremely difficult time in their lives. Andrea has been a member of Vesta for approximately two years. Andrea considers herself to be a compassionate advocate, who works cooperatively and creatively to reach amicable divorce agreements, but is willing to “take the gloves off” and strenuously advocate for a client if and when the need arises. Andrea graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Psychology from Salve Regina University , and earned her law degree from Roger Williams University School of Law. In addition to private practice, Andrea worked as a law clerk for the judges of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court in Plymouth, Bristol and Barnstable Counties. Andrea’s prior experience working for judges and her dual licensure in Massachusetts and Rhode has left her uniquely situated to provide top-notch legal services to clients with an emphasis on maximizing the strengths in the client’s case that will lead to amicable resolution, or a favorable decision from the Court.
